Smarter Consulting was founded by Andrew Robbins .JP MBCS a seasoned consultant with over 20 years of experience across the justice, education, digital, and government sectors. With a career that spans courtroom benches, boardrooms, and classrooms, Andrew’s offers practical expertise and strategic vision that helps organisations transform, comply, and thrive.
As a former CEO of multiple SaaS companies, including platforms supporting criminal justice, case management, and public sector digital services, Andy has led the design, build, and national rollout of secure systems used across the UK and internationally. His technology leadership is backed by professional membership of the Chartered Institute of IT and deep experience in cyber security, regulatory compliance, and product innovation for sensitive environments.
Andrew also brings extensive experience from the justice sector, serving as a Justice of the Peace in the Adult Criminal Courts, a Youth Panal Magistrate, and a long standing advocate for restorative justice. He has authored and delivered restorative training across the UK and internationally, served on the Global Advisory Council of Restorative Justice International, and holds the position of Vice President of the Florida Restorative Justice Association.
In addition to his professional roles, Andrew’s is a passionate community leader. His background includes service as a senior leader for a youth organisation, and a safeguarding governor for local education. These experiences give him an exceptional grasp of youth development, behaviour support, and trauma-informed approaches to conflict and community safety.
His consultancy approach is rooted in lived leadership and grounded ethics. From advising tech start-ups and mentoring education leaders, to securing Crown Commercial Service listings and overseeing public procurement bids, Andrew’s insight is as actionable as it is strategic.
